Mediation is a form of dispute resolution where one impartial third party assists two people to resolve their dispute.
There are many benefits to mediation. You will craft a solution that is tailored to your family’s very specific needs. You will preserve and improve the communication and working relationship between the parties. Finding a resolution that both parties are happy with, and have chosen voluntarily, increases the likelihood that the agreement will be followed, and that the conflict will end. This process is often faster and less costly than other adversarial options.
If you reach agreement in mediation, this will be drafted into a legally enforceable written agreement.
