Our fees range from $275/hr to $475/hr plus PST and GST depending on the years of experience of your lawyer. We accept payment via debit, credit card, email money transfer, cash and cheque.
Kelly Shaw has over 25 years of experience as a family law lawyer. She began her legal career in 1994 in North Battleford, SK. In 2002 she relocated to Saskatoon, SK. She opened Riverside Family Law in 2018.
Kelly is passionate about helping people who are experiencing family disputes. Even difficult experiences such as family breakdown will eventually pass. Kelly lends her legal judgment, her experience, and compassion to support you through the bumps so that you can begin to focus on creating your future. Kelly is a trained mediator and a collaborative divorce lawyer member of Collaborative Professionals of Saskatchewan Inc. She is also a family law arbitrator, having received the Qualified Arbitrator designation from the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada.
Kelly Shaw has over 25 years of litigation experience in the courtrooms of Saskatchewan. She also has 25 years of providing guidance to people who are experiencing family breakdown and conflict. Slade Hall graduated from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law in 2020 at just 21 years-old—the youngest member of his graduating class. After finishing his articles and completing Saskatchewan’s Bar Admissions Course, Slade was called to the Bar in 2021. Now with nearly four years of family law practice under his belt, Slade offers a unique mix of practical experience and vibrant energy.
Slade believes that effective legal service begins with “keeping things simple.” Navigating through a family law dispute can be overwhelming. Slade ensures that each one of his clients develops an understanding of their legal rights and obligations so they can make informed decisions. He is both a lawyer and mediator.
Slade’s family law services include negotiation, preparation of pre-nuptial agreements and interspousal contracts, advice, mediation, courtroom advocacy, and full legal representation. Ainsley Chiverton obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2023 and was called to the bar in 2024. Prior to entering law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan.
Ainsley understands that family disputes can be difficult and that no two families are alike. She works alongside her clients to find a solution that will meet their specific needs. Her services include negotiation, preparation of contracts, advice, and full legal representation.
Matt is one of our legal assistants. He is dedicated to making sure client’s questions and concerns are answered with a prompt thoughtful response while also handling office administration and legal document preparation. Matt is born and raised in Saskatoon.
